This course provides a complete and comprehensive look at human bioenergetics and performance nutrition. Topics such as the difference between macronutrients and micronutrients as well as discussing new areas of research within the realm of nutrition and body composition are explored. The analysis of research-based evidence provides students some of the most up to date information in the field regarding all aspects of nutrition, different diets, exercise methods for muscle mass and body composition, and dietary supplements.

First, we'll identify what happens when we eat food by covering digestion and absorption. Then we'll gonna look at different ways that we measure body composition: the various methods to test, and what does that information actually mean. We'll talk about why micronutrients are important, but more importantly, we'll learn simply what the macronutrients and micronutrients are. We'll learn the names of each vitamin and mineral, the functions and what happens, and exercises that are appropriate for achieving our personalized goals to help with body sculpting.
